The hotel had large, clean rooms that suited our needs well and were of a very good standard. The free hot drinks and cookies in reception were a nice touch, but the noise from garbage cans and trucks loading at inconvenient times was a downside.

My stay at the Best Western Plus Capitola was a mixed experience. The location is perfect for those on the go, being in a non-beachy area of Capitola and ideal for visiting both capitola village and Santa Cruz beach boardwalk. However, the rooms are predetermined and discounted due to some inconveniences, such as being directly opposite the maintenance hub of the entire hotel, with cleaning carts lined up in the hallway and laundry operating at full scale.
